Alberta A. Stein, 82, Fort Recovery, died at 6:55 p.m. Aug. 23, 2010, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.

She was born June 3, 1928, in Dayton, to John and Olive Wendel Doll. On Nov. 25, 1948, she married Herbert E. Stein, who died Dec. 3, 1980.

Surviving is a son, Mike (Sandy) Stein, Fort Recovery; a brother, John (Bobbie) Doll Jr., Conway Ark.; and three grandchildren.

Also deceased is a sister, Patricia Balderaz.

She worked at Fort Recovery Industries and was a graduate of Julienne High School in Dayton. She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery.
