* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following county, Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Union.
* WHEN...From midnight EDT tonight through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of rain will occur overnight into Thursday. The heavier bands of rainfall will have 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts.

At 542 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Waynesfield, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Ada, Alger, Waynesfield, Mcguffey, Uniopolis, Walton, and State Route 195 at State Route 235.

Marcella Birkmeyer
Marcella Birkmeyer, 94, Coldwater, died Sept. 5, 2010, at the Gardens in St. Henry.
She was born Aug. 5, 1916, in St. Henry, to Sebastian and Philomena Benke Samberg. On June 11, 1955, she married Anthony Birkmeyer, who died Nov. 11, 1975.
Surviving are two stepsons, Robert (Ruth) Birkmeyer, Coldwater and John Birkmeyer, Celina; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Margaret Samberg and Marjorie Samberg; a stepson, Charles Birkmeyer; and a stepdaughter-in-law, Rosalyn Birkmeyer.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its Ladies Rosary-Altar Sodality. She worked in the business field and was a homemaker.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
