Franklin Twp. developer doesn't get zoning to build
MONTEZUMA - After months of legal limbo, the results of a Franklin Township zoning issue that was voted on at the primary election in May were released this morning.
ST. MARYS - The board of education at a special meeting this morning passed a resolution to place a new levy on the May 3 ballot.
School district residents will vote on a five-year, 7.9-mill emergency levy that would bring in $1.95 million annually for operating expenses.
A 26-year-old Celina man will appear in Mercer County Common Pleas Court Wednesday morning to answer to a 15-count indictment handed down last week by grand jurors in connection with alleged child abuse involving his young daughter.

CELINA - A Celina man, who authorities believe is in the U.S. illegally, was charged with the traffic death of a Kenton man in an Auglaize County accident three weeks ago.
