Charles Hoselton
Charles W. Hoselton, 88, Celina, died at 2:04 a.m. Jan. 28, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born June 5, 1922, in Chillicothe to Andrew W. and Fannie Clark Hoselton. On April 28, 1946, he married Betty Spaulding, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Charles (Nancy) Hoselton, Union City, Tenn.; three daughters, Roxanne (John) Houts, Celina, Trudy (Wayne) Fisher, Celina, and Sandra (Pat) Gillis, Dayton; two sisters, Jacqueline (Jim) Knous, Celina, and JoAnn Dammeyer, St. Marys; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Lloyd Hoselton; and a sister, Joyce Martin; and a granddaughter.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, having served during World War II. He worked at the former Goodyear in St. Marys. He was a member of the Celina First Church of God. He also was a life member of the St. Marys Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Services are 6 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
