Kenneth Rose
Kenneth G. Rose, 74, Fort Loramie, died at 1:30 a.m. March 13, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.
He was born July 8, 1936, in Cranberry Prarie, to Edwin and Mathilda Evers Rose. On April 25, 1959, he married Ramona Muhlenkamp, who survives.
Also surviving are six children, David (Amy) Rose, Mike (Lori) Rose, Cindy (Jim) Moore, Richard (Brenda) Rose, Ron (Sue) Rose, and Brad (Kelly) Rose, all of Fort Loramie; six siblings, Eileen Hess, St. Henry, Donald (Beverly) Rose, St. Henry, Doris (Les) Bohman, St. Henry, Jim (Jane) Rose, Brookville, Sharon (Dave) King, Lima, and Therese Lefeld, Coldwater; a brother-in-law, Mark Griesdorn, Cassella; mother-in-law, Clotilda Muhlenkamp, Minster; seven in-laws, Norma (Tom) Siegel, Fort Loramie, Rebecca (Jim) Rethman, Fort Loramie, Rose Muhlenkamp, Tipp City, James Muhlenkamp, Tipp City, Mary Jane (James) Osborn, Columbus, Jerry (Mary) Muhlenkamp, Minster, Lucy (Mark) Skinner, Walsorf, Md.; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Steven Rose; two sisters, Mary Rose and Margie Griesdorn; three brothers-in-law, Robert Hess, William Muhlenkamp and Dave Lefeld; father-in-law, Leon Muhlenkamp; a sister-in-law, Janet Muhlenkamp.
He was a member of St. Michael Church in Fort Loramie. He was also a member of the St. Michael Hall Board, Fort Loramie Athletic Boosters, Fraternal Order of Eagles 1391 in Minster and the National Guard. He was a lifetime farmer.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
