Jeffrey G. Dirksen, 40, Versailles, died at 1:35 p.m. April 11, 2011, in the emergency room at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

He was born Feb. 8, 1971, in Coldwater, to Urban Dirksen of Fort Recovery, who survives, and the late Bernice Timmerman Dirksen.

Also surviving are daughters Stacy Dirksen, Greenville, and Tracy Dirksen and Macy Dirksen, both of Versailles; siblings Larry Dirksen, Fort Recovery, Mike (Sherry) Dirksen, Union City, Ohio, Dan (Stacie) Dirksen, Versailles; Mark Dirksen, Fort Recovery, Karen (Abe) Timmerman, Fort Recovery, and Brian Dirksen, Versailles.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
