Vera McElfresh
Former Rockford resident Vera Anita Wilson McElfresh, 58, Bluffton, Ind., died at 12:03 a.m. April 29, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born Sept. 9, 1952, to David J. and Louverna Hensley Wilson.
Surviving are six brothers, James Wilson, Otto Wilson and Marvin (Judy) Wilson, all of Celina, Henry (Imy) Wilson, Mark Center, David (Lina) Wilson, Mendon, and Rick Wilson, Lawrenceburg, Ind.; and three sisters, Shirley (Jim) Baltzell, Celina, Lena (Daryl) Gruver, Mt. Vernon, and Sandra (Lowell) Kable, Portland, Ind.
Deceased are two sisters-in-law, Charlotte and Marie Wilson.
She worked as a computer data entry person at Peyton's Distribution Center for Kroger in Bluffton, Ind. She was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Revs. David Wilson and Daryl Gruver officiating. Burial is at Mercer Cemetery, Mercer.
Calling is 9-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
