Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s today. This will combine with a humid airmass to produce heat indicies in the 95 to 100 degree range this afternoon. Smoke from Canadian wildfires will adversely impact air quality. The Agency expects the Air Quality Index to be in the 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' range. CELINA - The city will have a new leader next year as incumbent mayor Sharon LaRue lost the Republican primary Tuesday night.

CELINA - Election night went smoothly in Mercer County compared to the 2010 elections.

CELINA - A tax levy for Celina City Schools district passed Tuesday night, insuring an annual collection of $4.9 million for five years for operating expenses.
MINSTER - Voters in the Minster school district narrowly approved a 1 percent income tax levy by a vote of 612 to 551 - 52.6 percent - on Tuesday, but 80 uncounted provisional and absentee ballots could change the outcome.
CELINA - Longtime city law director Kevin McKirnan was defeated by George Moore in the Republican primary Tuesday night.
No Democratic or independent candidates have filed and Moore will run uncontested in the November general election unless a write-in candidate files by 4 p.m. Aug. 29.
ST. HENRY -Voters in the St. Henry school district passed a 1.21-mill permanent improvement replacement levy Tuesday that will raise taxes starting in January.
