Thomas Adams
Former New Bremen resident Thomas Adams, 88, died at 3:17 a.m. May 8, 2011, at Springfield Masonic Home, Springfield.
He was born Jan. 24, 1923, in Grangemouth, Scotland, to Thomas and Agnes Allan Adams. In 1947, he married Lois Craft, who survives in Springfield.
Also surviving are two sons, Ronald (Brenda) Adams, New Bremen, and Thomas (Martha) Adams, Tampa, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Gertrude Sigle.
He served with the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. He was 32nd Degree Free and Accepted Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite Lodge in Youngstown/Cleveland area.
He retired from AT&T Corporation.
The family will hold privates services.
Gilberg-Hartweg Funeral Home, New Bremen, is handling arrangements.
