Geraldine Ramga
Geraldine Carolynn Ramga, Wapakoneta, died at 10:40 a.m. June 18, 2011, at the home where she was born and raised.
She was born April 30, 1922, to Glen and Grace Bailey Bonifield. In 1938, she married Paul Ramga, who died June 8, 1959.
Survivors are her children, Carolynn (Ray) Sidey and Glenn (Kay) Ramga, all of Wapakoneta, and Paulette (Jim) Welshimer, Findlay; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was a former member of Walnut Grove Methodist Church and Bethlehem Christian Union Church and presently Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys. She was a Sunday school teacher and youth group leader for 20 years.
She was a member of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Hospital Guild 6, Lakeside Property Owners Association and Ohio Farm Bureau. Her family farm was awarded Auglaize County Centennial and Sesquicentennial Ancestral Farm in 2003.
Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church in St. Marys, the Revs. Steve Weatherly and Mary Kay Brown officiating. Burial will be in Buckland Cemetery, Buckland.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
