Sub-zero temperatures and wind chill values are occurring this morning. While most locations will have values in the negative single digits, some isolated temperatures and wind chills will be as low as 10 degrees below zero. Temperatures improve across western and southwest Ohio over the next few hours as clouds move in.

Thomas Art
Thomas Mitchell Art, 43, Lima, died at 12:25 a.m. Oct. 30, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Feb. 25, 1968, in Lima to John and Irene Homan Art, who survive. On Sept. 23, 1989, he married Laurie M. Bishop, who also survives.
Other survivors are children, Lauren Art and Mitchell Art, both of Lima; siblings, Aaron (Lina) Art, Cridersville, Valery (Jeff) Conrad, Lima, Brian (Cathy) Art, Fort Wayne, Ind., Charles (Laura) Art, Lima, Chris (Kelli) Art, Russia; parents-in-law, Robert and Mary Bishop, Lima; in-laws, Chris (Paul) Joseph, Lima, Robb (Lenore) Bishop, Portage, Mich., and Cheryl (Scott Stimmel) Wilkins, Cairo.
A member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church, he was a 1986 graduate of Elida High School and also graduated from the University of Northwest Ohio. He was attending the University of Toledo. He was co-owner of Elida Auto Service for 22 years and also ran an AAA wrecker. He had been an automotive careers instructor at Lima Senior Performance Based School. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Knights of Columbus.
Service is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. David Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials may be made to the Lauren and Mitchell Art College Fund, c/o State Bank and Trust Company, Lima.
