Ray High
Ray D. High, 88, Mendon, died March 8, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 15, 1924, in Union Township, to Ray R. and Mamie Ruth Spicer High. On June 19, 1960, he married Glenda Colwell, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Larry Joe (Julie) High, Fort Wayne, Ind., Debra Lee Conway, Fort Wayne, and Renee (Richard) Flanary, Celina; two brothers, Paul (Emily) High, Dayton, and Ralph E. (Darrah) High, Mendon; mother-in-law, Esta Mae Colwell, Mendon; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son-in-law, Brad Conway; a sister, Freda High; and a grandson.
He attended Mendon-Union High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of New Start Church of God, Celina.
He retired from Reynolds and Reynolds, Celina, after 41 years of service.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. John Mobley officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
