Norma Smith
Norma L. Smith, 87, Fort Recovery, died March 23, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Fort Recovery, to William and Catherine Livingston Rohrer.
On Feb. 1, 1943, she married Marion Smith, who died April 7, 2002.
Surviving are a son, William Joe (Karen) Smith, Fort Recovery; three siblings, Ernest Rohrer, Fort Recovery, Jerry (Ardith) Rohrer, Union City, and Bernice McDowell, Fort Recovery; a son-in-law, Bill (Karen) Stump, Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Smith, Portland, Ind.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two children, Mary Stump and Jeffrey Smith; three siblings, Richard Rohrer, Soloma Glassford and Rosellen Ruhenkamp; and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, and the Altar Sodality of the church. She was an Avon representative.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
