Marcella A. "Sally" Koesters, 84, Chickasaw, died March 25, 2012, at her home.

She was born Feb. 16, 1928, in Philothea, to Ben and Mary Fullenkamp Brockman. On May 21, 1949, she married Harold Koesters, who died June 24, 1991.

Surviving are four children, Sharon (Steve) Osterholt, Springfield, Gary (Jane) Koesters, Coldwater, Deb (Bob) Homan, St. Rose, and Mary Ann Koesters, Chickasaw; a brother, Melvin (Lois) Brockman, Vandalia; a daughter-in-law, Emily (Charlie) Flannigan, Maria Stein; three sisters-in-law, Frances Brockman, Vandalia, Virginia (Bob) Knapke, Minster, Shirley (Norb) Tangeman, Chickasaw; a brother-in-law, Luke Griesdorn, Osgood; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son, Michael; six siblings and spouses, Laurine and Ray Hart, Arnold Brockman, Mary Ann and Joe Beumer, Helen and Clarence Guggenbiller, Minnie Lou and Ollie Jackson, and Betty and Dick Hirsch, and four in-laws, Francella and Joe Fiely, Kathryn Griesdorn and Frank Koesters.

She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, the Ladies Sodality of the church, St. Cecelia Auxiliary 89 Knights of St. John, Coldwater, Maria Stein Adoration Guild and the Legion of Mary.

She had retired from Marion Local Schools.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Tom Brenberger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
