* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Mary Brandon Ahlers
Former Coldwater resident Mary A. Brandon Ahlers, 83, Sidney, died April 4, 2012, at Dorothy Love Retirement Village.
She was born April 14, 1928, in Coldwater, to William and Elizabeth Bruns Nieberding. On July 17, 1946, she married Dale Brandon, who died in 1968. On Aug. 6, 1971, she married Bartel Ahlers, who died in 2008.
Surviving are five daughters, Elaine (Joe) Oen, Russia, Connie (Bill) Anthony, Santa Barbara, Calif., Doris (Robert Lawson) Anderson, Williston, Vt., Joan (Ken) Knapke, Sidney and Maria (Albert) Wray, Sidney; 17 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three sons, Ralph, Marvin and Richard, and four siblings, Edna Heitkamp, Bertha Homan, Ed Nieberding, Bernard Nieberding.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality. She was a CCD teacher and a member of the prayer group.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, North Star.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Saturday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
