* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Mary Jane Birt
Mary Jane Birt, 83, Montezuma, died April 5, 2012, at Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born May 24, 1928, in Chickasaw, to Ferdinand and Rosa Clune Schwieterman. On June 18, 1949, she married Doyle Birt, who died Oct 31, 2007.
Surviving are four children, Charles (Karen) Birt, Fenton, Mich., Ronald (Cindy) Birt, Athens, Alan (Pepper) Birt, Montezuma, and Jeanette (Bill) Muhlenkamp, Arlington, Texas; 16 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are seven siblings, Lawrence and Harold Schwieterman, Rita Dell, Agnes Borgerding, Leona Wildenhaus, Julianna Post and Martha Huelsman.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Altar Rosary Sodality and was a CCD teacher for more than 20 years.
A graduate of Coldwater High School, she worked in Franklin Elementary cafeteria for over 20 years. She was also a hospice volunteer.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Rick Friebel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
