Kindergarten through fifth-grade students work with local artist Mya Fannon to create kernels of corn. A large husk then was drawn around the corn. The activity took place on the elementary playground. The project is part of a Creative Arts Festival being held this week at the school and a preview to a similar one planned for the public during the town's 175th birthday celebration in July.
