Louise Hinders
Louise A. Hinders, 80, Celina, died Feb. 18, 2013, at her home.
She was born Aug. 2, 1932, in Celina to Homer J. and Emma Louise Pax Hinders, who are both deceased.
Surviving are two brothers, Urban (Doris) Hinders of Kettering and Rev. Joe Hinders of Columbus; two sisters, Mary Rutledge of Englewood and Marita (Gene) Pitstick of Akron; a sister-in-law, Virginia Hinders of Celina; and many nieces and nephews.
Also deceased is a brother, John Hinders.
She graduated in 1950 from Immaculate Conception High School in Celina and received her bachelor's degree in music from the University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne, and master's degree in education from the University of Dayton. She retired from Dayton Public Schools after teaching for 30 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, and its Altar-Rosary Society and Ladies Quilting Group. She was a frequent volunteer at the church and in the school cafeteria.
She was very interested in politics, enjoyed classical music and photography and followed her nieces' and nephews' activities and sports. She was a very caring person with a very charitable and generous spirit. A nature lover, she enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, Rev. Ken Schnipke and Rev. Joe Hinders officiating.
No visitation will be held.
