Gregor Prenger
Gregor L. Prenger, 86, Maria Stein, died at 1:30 a.m. March 7, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born March 24, 1926, in Maria Stein to Frank and Regina Mescher Prenger. He married Luella M. Bohman on May 13, 1950, in Egypt, and she survives in Maria Stein.
He is also survived by children, Kathy (Paul) Wilcox, Beavercreek, Pat (Harry) Pohlman, Carlisle, Pa., Ken (Karen) Prenger, Coldwater, and Tom (Carol) Prenger, Celina; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Annella Franzer, Coldwater, Don (Mary) Prenger, Maria Stein, Hilda (Ben) Schwieterman, Fort Recovery, and Art (Rosemary) Prenger, Chickasaw; and a sister-in-law, Edna Prenger, Versailles.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Leo, Alvin and Laurina Poeppelman and Helen Buening.
He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and a member of the Men's Sodality. He retired from Surge Dairy Farm Equipment with over 30 years of service.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Rose Catholic Church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke celebrant.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Burial will take place in St. Rose Cemetery.
