* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 714 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

Kathleen Shirk
Kathleen Sue "Kathy" Shirk, 60, Celina, died March 21, 2013, at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born May 5, 1952. Her father, William Kelly, her mother, Ruth Ketrow Kelly Schnack, and her step-father, John Schnack, are all deceased. On Oct. 2, 1971, she was married to Dennis R. Shirk, who died July 29, 1994.
Surviving is a daughter, Amanda (Charlie) Stucke; a son, Willis (Joanie) Shirk; five grandchildren, Kaden and Dane Stucke and Robert, Elijah and Isaac, Shirk; a father-in-law, Robert Shirk, all of Celina; and a brother, John Schnack, New Bremen.
Deceased are a brother, Robert (Pam) Kelly; a mother-in-law, Violet Shirk; and a brother-in-law, Dane Shirk.
She was a 1970 graduate of Celina High School and had earned a degree from Edison State Community College. She retired after 30 years of service as a case worker at Mercer County Job & Family Services, then worked part time as a teller at Peoples Bank in Celina. She was a member of Moose Lodge 1473, Eagles Aerie 1291 and American Legion Post 210 Ladies Auxiliary, all of Celina, and she loved to dance.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jim Langham officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Saturday and 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
