Tree disposal
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Grand Lake St. Marys State Park workers use a giant log grinder Monday to pulverize trees and brush that were felled on state park land. About 200 mostly ash trees were taken down due to an emerald ash borer infestation. The public can help replace the trees with tax deductible donations and through a memorial tree program. For more information, go to www.lakeimprovement.com/glsm-state-park-tree-replacement-program or call the state park office at 419-394-3611.
