Cyril Delzeith
Cyril "George" Delzeith, 82, St. Henry, died May 8, 2013, at The Gardens at St. Henry.
He was born Dec. 19, 1930, in Coldwater, to Clemens and Sophia Buschur Delzeith. On April 28, 1969, he married Eileen Evers, his wife of 44 years, who survives in St. Henry.
Also surviving are a sister, Anna Marie (Anthony) Geise, Fort Loramie; nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Deceased are five brothers, Nicholas, John, Richard, Cletus and Sylvester, and two sisters, Rita and Alvira.
He lived in St. Henry, in the house he built, until entering The Gardens two years ago. In July 1991, he retired from Alumetal Manufacturing in Coldwater. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War, a lifetime member of the St. Henry American Legion and the Coldwater VFW, and was a member of the Coldwater Eagles. He volunteered on the St. Henry Fire Department for 25 years.
He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery with military rites.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
