Robert Krick
Robert P. Krick, 86, Celina, died at 8:45 a.m. June 13, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born July 9, 1926, in Van Wert to Henry W. and Cynthia Ellen Murray Krick. On June 16, 1946, he married Mary Martha Noack, who died Nov. 30, 2005.
Surviving are his son, Thomas (Candace) Krick of Celina; two daughters, Luwanna (Dan) Klosterman of Celina and LouAnna (Doug) Ellis of Celina; a brother, Eugene (Betty) Krick of Spencerville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Henry Krick and Arthur Krick, and two sisters, Leona Krick and Dora Simpson.
In 1956 he started Bob's TV Service, and he retired in 1988. He also was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, having served from Feb. 3, 1944, until May 4, 1946, aboard the destroyer U.S.S. Blue of the Pacific Fleet. He was a member of the Celina V.F.W., American Legion, Eagles and Moose lodge.
In the 1960s he served as a trustee for Jefferson Township. He enjoyed boating, fishing, square dancing and playing cards with his dearest friends. While retired, he restored and sold 13 Pontiac Fieros.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Steve Whetstone officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Cisco Funeral Home.
