Woman's kidney comes from unexpected source

COLDWATER - Belinda Schwieterman feels like she has a future again after being involved in a kidney swap with 56 participants at 19 transplant centers across the country.

Two Mercer County women recently participated in a kidney swap that matched 28 compatible donors and recipients across the country.
The donation chain dubbed Chain 221 began April 30 in Tennessee and ended June 5 at the Cleveland Clinic. Procedures were performed in 19 different medical centers.
