* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Allen Spring
Allen Spring Sr., 89, of rural New Knoxville, died at 11:24 p.m. July 3, 2013, at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown.
He was born July 5, 1923, in Van Wert County, to Leonard and Rena Spring. On Nov. 2, 1951, he married Lucille Johnson in Portland, Ind., and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Phillip Spring of Waynesville, Gary Spring of New Knoxville and Daniel Spring of London; two daughters, Rena (Tim) Miller of Waynesville, Mo., and Candice Spring-Kaiser of Mason; a daughter-in-law, Becky Spring of St. Marys; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Erma Dunn of Ft. Wayne, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a son, Allen Spring Jr., and a grandson, Eric Spring.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre during World War II. He was also a retired production employee, having worked at Huffy Bicycle Mfg. Co. in Celina. He was a member of the Church of Christ in St. Marys.
His favorite pastimes included working in his vegetable garden, doing yard work and tending the livestock on his small farm.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, West Chapel, in St. Marys.
Burial is Wednesday at the Dayton National Cemetery.
Calling is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
