Carl D. Patten, 66, Sidney, died at 9:48 p.m. July 25, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

He was born May 21, 1947, in Bellefontaine, to James and Olive (Jennings) Patten. On June 5, 1971, he married Kathy Jo Ballentine, who survives.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene, St. Marys, the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, West Chapel, St. Marys.
