* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Richard Chaney
Richard D. "Dick" Chaney, 68, Celina, passed away June 1, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Feb. 28, 1946, in Celina, to Orby and Betty Koos Chaney, who are deceased. He was raised by his aunt and uncle, Louie and Opal Handley, who also preceded him in death.
He currently was married to Peggy Schmidt Andrew Chaney and formerly to Norma Klosterman Chaney, both of whom survive in Celina.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, John (Melissa) Chaney, Celina; four grandchildren, Chad, Andy, Elizabeth and Logan; a sister, Connie (William) Liming, Oneida, Tenn.; a foster brother, Danny Handley, Cleveland; a stepson, Christopher Andrew, Celina; and numerous extended family members.
He was a graduate of Celina High School and retired after many years of service as a supervisor/manager with the Ohio Department of Transportation in Celina.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Ken Alt officiating. Burial will be at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, at a later date.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Thursday and 5-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
