James Andres
James W. Andres, 85, Celina, passed away Aug. 16, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 23, 1928, in Coldwater, to Harold David and Lillie Mae Hall Andres. On Jan. 11, 1954, he married Blanche E. Kittle, who died Oct. 1, 2001.
Surviving are a son, John Kirk Andres, Celina; two daughters-in-law, Jeanine L. Andres and Denise E. "Dee Dee" Andres; a granddaughter, Trisha; and three sisters-in-law, Edna Andres, Coldwater, and Helen Henkle and Mary Ann Kittle, both of Celina.
Deceased are three sons, infant David Lee Andres, Mark Allan "Mongo" Andres and Daniel Lewis Andres, and a brother, Philip Andres.
He was a graduate of Coldwater High School and served stateside for two years with the U.S. Army. He had worked for New Idea Farm Equipment in Coldwater and retired from ITW Food Equipment Group, formerly the Hobart Corp., Troy.
His hobbies were fishing and flying model airplanes, and he was a member of the Celina Flying Sportsmen's Club.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, with military rites conducted by Celina American Legion Post #210 and VFW Post #5713.
Calling is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
