MINSTER - A new exhibit commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Oktoberfest opens Sunday at the Minster Historical Society Museum.
The festival, which began Oct. 4-5, 1975, continues as a way for residents to celebrate their proud German heritage, according to museum curator Mary Oldiges. Thousands of people each year participate in the festivities, she added. [More]

COLDWATER - After finishing fourth at last year's Lefeld Implement Classic, E.J. Tackett was ready to return.
