Dolores Belsher
Dolores K. Belsher, 90, Coldwater, died Aug. 31, 2014, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born Oct. 15, 1923, in Philothea, to John and Caroline Schwegman Link. On Aug. 20, 1955, she married Leonard 'Slim' Belsher, who died March 19, 2010.
Surviving is a daughter, Jane (Clayton) Stammen, Coldwater.
Also deceased are three grandsons; three siblings, Werner (Pauline) Link, Marcella (Vincent) Bornhorst and Richard Link; and a sister-in-law, Mary Catherine (Bill) Daffler.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its Resurrection Choir, St. Ann's Ladies Sodality, St. Cecelia Knights of St. John and the Ladies VFW Auxiliary, all of Coldwater. She also was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. Henry, and a former member of the Mercer Health Volunteers.
She worked as a bookkeeper for the former Schoch's Paint Store and former Pierce's Five and Dime Store, both in Coldwater, and was a sales clerk at the former J.C. Penny store, Celina. She enjoyed being with family and friends and loved animals, especially cats.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
