Open house set at high school, athletic complex

CELINA - For more than an hour Thursday the entire city of Celina was without power due to a problem with a 69,000-volt line, according to Mike Mertz, electric distribution supervisor for the city.
Mercer County in August continued to maintain the lowest unemployment rate in the state, according to data released this week by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

COLDWATER - The last time Coldwater's volleyball team lost a set was Sept. 2 against Wapakoneta. Last evening's contest against New Bremen resulted in another Cavalier sweep, although the Cardinals did everything in their power to end the streak.
ST. HENRY - After losing a close first set to Marion Local 25-23, the St. Henry volleyball team responded by winning the next three sets to beat the Flyers and remain unbeaten in Midwest Athletic Conference play.
