Anna Fisher
Anna Lee Fisher, 77, passed away Sept. 24, 2014, at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born in Celina to Vilas and Marjorie Riesen. She was married to Marvin Fisher, who survives in Fort Wayne.
Also surviving are two daughters, Deborah (Scott Brewer) Closson, Fort Wayne, and Susan (Jeff) Spillers, Wesley Chapel, Fla.; two grandsons, John (Desire) Closson II and Andrew (Jacinta) Closson; four great-grandchildren, Jonathon Closson, Leanazia Farrar and Najja and Jahren Kemp; and a brother, Gene Riesen, Celina.
Also deceased are two sisters, Willadean Hasenjager and Alice James, and two brothers, Samuel Riesen and Vilas Riesen Jr.
She worked in the childcare industry for 35 years before retiring. She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi Preceptor Gamma Iota Chapter and the Red Hat Society. She had the privilege to sing with the Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles and playing bingo.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fellowship Missionary Church, Fort Wayne, Pastor Bill Hickle officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
