Jeanette Nolte
Jeanette A. Dwenger Nolte, 71, Botkins, passed away of natural causes early on Nov. 6, 2014, at her daughter's residence in Kettering.
She was born Aug. 26, 1943, in Celina, to Urban and Lucille Clune Dwenger. On May 22, 1965, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, she married Louis Nolte, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Nathan (Angela Townsend) Nolte, Anna, Andrew Nolte, of Darke County, and Sara (Eric) Thompson, Kettering; five grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Nick and Brittin Nolte, and Peyton Thompson; one great-grandson, Alex Nolte; five siblings, Ben (Karen Steinemann) Dwenger, Minster, Marilyn (Richard) Larger, Minster, Dan (Barb Walters) Dwenger, Osgood, Ron (Bernice Bruggeman) Dwenger, Chickasaw, and Larry (Joyce Koesters) Dwenger, Celina; and sisters- and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Jackson, Anna, Jim (Doris Holloway) Nolte, Anna, and Mike (Nancy Baker) Nolte, Sidney.
Deceased are three infant children, Christopher, Angela and Aaron Nolte; one brother-in-law, Gary Jackson; and three infant siblings, Helen, Irene and Eugene Dwenger.
She was retired from Wagner's IGA in Minster, where she had worked for 15 years. Previously she worked for Auglaize Acres and the Anna Nursing Home.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and had been a dedicated volunteer. She also belonged to the Altar Rosary Society and was a past member of the Anna Rescue Squad. In her leisure, she enjoyed quilting, baking and entertaining her grandchildren.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, Fr. John W. Tonkin officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
