Garry Lynn Ungericht, 62, Ansonia, passed away at 7:13 a.m. Nov. 22, 2014, at Wayne Healthcare.

He was born July 28, 1952, in Greenville, to Earl and Vivian Snyder Ungericht. On March 31, 1979, he married Carol Borger, who survives in Ansonia.

Also surviving are two sons, Joseph (Kristy) Ungericht, Union City, and Dustin (Ashley) Ungericht, Sidney; a granddaughter, Skylar Grace Ungericht; two stepgrandsons, Cody McCowen and Dillon McCowen; a brother, Terry Ungericht, Ansonia; two sisters, Connie Marker, Greenville, and Brenda (Jerry) Riffell, Ansonia; a half sister, Christi Ungericht Bailey, Greenville; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Ray Prasuhn, Rossburg, Kenny Borger, Bethel, Alice (Bob) Uhlenhake, St. Henry, Paul (Betty) Borger, St. Henry, Charles Borger, New Weston, Dorothy (Dan) Harrod, Celina, Rita Borger, New Weston, Ronald Creamer, Union City; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Deceased are a sister, Sherry Ungericht Prasuhn, and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Ronald Borger, Mary Jane Borger Creamer, Pauline Borger Kaiser, Phyllis Borger Honeycutt and Bill Borger.

He was retired and had worked at Shellar Globe (Hardy Division) and Pax Steel. He was a member of the Union City American Legion. He enjoyed card playing, collecting key chains and bottle openers and working jigsaw puzzles.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Terry Haworth officiating.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
