Drucella Schlamb
Drucella M. Schlamb, 90, Rossburg, died Dec. 1, 2014, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born Jan. 29, 1924, in North Star, to Albert and Mary Bulcher Subler. On Feb. 8, 1941, in North Star, she married Elmer Schlamb Sr., who died March 10, 2004.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol (Ron) Keller, Celina, and Ruth (Dan) Beasley, Rossburg; a brother, Joseph (Vivian) Subler, Greenville; 14 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Ann (Jay) Hale, Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
Also deceased are a son, Elmer Schlamb Jr.; three sisters, Evelyn Reedy, Adele Olwine and Roberta Good; a brother, Richard "Jim" Subler; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm with her husband. She also was formerly employed at Fort Recovery Industries and Lamberts in Ansonia.
She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, and its Altar Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed playing bingo and being with her family, and spent many hours in prayer.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, North Star.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
