Eilleen Dicke
Eilleen Webster Dicke, 93, died at home on Jan. 14, 2015, following a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
She was born July 1, 1921, to Warren and Mary Webster. She was the oldest of four children. On Feb. 14, 1942, she married James F. Dicke, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jim II (Janet) Dicke and Dane (Cindy) Dicke; five grandchildren, Jim III (Katy) Dicke, Jennifer (Andrew) Prewitt, Anastasia (Jay) Huelsman, Robin Dicke, Ashton Dicke and Christopher Dicke; six great grandchildren, Alexander Dicke, Charles Dicke, Connor Prewitt, Owen Prewitt, Allegra Huelsman and Liam Huelsman; two sisters, Dorothy W. Gilvary and Doris W. Campbell; numerous nieces and nephews; and a number of caregivers and friends who cared for her and her husband.
Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Kerry Dicke, and a brother, Warren E. Webster II.
A long time New Bremen resident, she was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. She was her husband's partner and advisor as they enjoyed a marriage of almost 73 years.
Due to inclement weather, a celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date. A private burial will be held at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the New Bremen Foundation. Donations may also be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
