Charles Brunswick
Charles N. "Charlie" Brunswick, 76, Bryant, Ind., died Jan. 30, 2015, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 31, 1938, in Wendelin, to Lawrence J. and Stella Reichert Brunswick. His wife, Janet Schwieterman Brunswick, survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Kris (Charlie) Vogel, Fort Recovery; three sons, Alan Brunswick, Bryant, Ind., Jack Brunswick, Geneva, Ind., and Greg (Carey) Brunswick, Portland Ind.; two brothers, Louis (Ann) Brunswick, Coldwater, and Paul (Shirley) Brunswick, Maria Stein; a sister, Irma (Urban) Arling, North Star; 13 grandchildren; and three in-laws, Lavern Schwieterman, Lakeview, Sylvia (Victor) Poeppelman, Lantana, Texas, and Mary Hemmelgarn, Portland, Ind.
Deceased are three sisters, Adele Stelzer, Marie Uhlenhake and Rita Brunswick, and a brother, Cletus Brunswick.
He was a farmer and also was employed for 18 years as a custodian at Bloomfield Elementary School, Bryant, Ind. He was a 1956 graduate of St. Henry High School and served in the Ohio National Guard in the 1960s. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Ind., and its St. Joseph's Men's Sodality.
He enjoyed gardening and cutting wood.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Ind., the Rev. Robert Moran officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
