Virginia & Ralph married on August 20, 1955 and raised nine children: Teresa Laux; Christopher (Michelle) Laux; Frank (deceased – his wife Antonia) Laux; Daria Laux (Mike) Walpole; Maureen (Mark) Baker; Terence Laux; Giles (Barbie) Laux; Amy Laux; and Nicole (Jon) Sholly. Virginia & Ralph have 11 grandchildren: Jessica (Stephen); Cole; Abby (Kerry); Ruby (Tim); Caleb (Kimberly): Cassidy; Michelle R.; Ralph II; Emma; Madeline; and Lucy; along with three great-grandchildren: Abraham; Ezekiel; and Corinne.
Virginia was a voracious reader and meticulous planner, juggling the raising of their nine children while being actively involved in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Virginia worked at New Idea, the Jackson, Michigan branch, for eight years before marrying Ralph and settling down in Trinity, Indiana. Years later, after Niki, their youngest child started high school, Virginia returned to work, working at the Jay County Assessor Office - later becoming Deputy Assessor.
Virginia was known for being extraordinarily gracious, kind to all, and possessing a quick wit. Virginia, above all else, cherished her beloved husband, Ralph, and their family.
