Mary Millhouse
Mary (Pfeffenberger) Millhouse, age 81, a native of Celina, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2015 at the Country View Nursing Facility in Sunbury, Ohio. She was surrounded by her loving family. Her death was due to complications of a stroke.
Mary was born June 14, 1933 in Celina, to the late Arthur & Verla (Huffman) Pfeffenberger. On January 16, 1954 she married William "Bill" Millhouse, who preceded her in death on September 20, 1972.
Mary is survived by her three Children: Nancy (Ken) Lynch of Johnstown, Ohio, Deb Millhouse of Celina and Scott (Chelsey) Millhouse of Frisco, Texas. Also surviving are six Grandchildren: Brian and Brittany Lynch and Jacob, Jordyn, Christian and Chloe Millhouse, and a Brother: Jim (Wilma) Pfeffenberger of Celina.
Deceased family members include her In-laws: William & Mabel (Garrett) Millhouse, Sister-in-law: Bernadine (Millhouse) Dock and Brother-in-law: Lowell Dock.
In her younger days, Mary worked at Barr's 5 & 10 Store and Bair's Drugstore in Celina. In later years, she was employed by Celina City Schools, where she worked in the Food Service Department. She retired in August of 1995, after 21 years of service.
Mary was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and belonged to the Altar Rosary Society. She loved working in her yard, camping and spending time with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Celina at 10:30 A.M., Monday, March 30th, with Fr. Ken Alt, C.PP.S., presiding. Burial will follow Mass at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 3-6:00 P.M., Sunday, March 29th and 9-10:15 A.M. on Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
