Michael Liette
Michael F. Liette, 63 of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Thursday June 11, 2015 at 11:35 AM at his residence.
He was born October 18, 1951 in Coldwater, Ohio the son of Mary (Siefring) Liette of Burkettsville and the late Hubert Liette.
He was the Material Control Manager at Emerson Climate Technologies for 46 years. He served in the Ohio National Guard.
He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church & a Eucharistic Minister at the church, & a member of the Versailles Eagles. He loved spending time with his children & grandchildren; he loved fishing, hunting, trapshooting, baseball, golfing, gardening, camping, his job, & his truck.
He is preceded in death by his father; his niece: Rachel Brackman; brothers in law: Donald Frilling, Carl Pleiman, Elton Pleiman, Victor Hoelscher, John Hoelscher; sisters in law: Doris Hoelscher, Patricia Hoelscher, & Patricia Romer.
He is survived by his mother: Mary Liette; his wife: Joyce (Hoelscher) Liette of Versailles; children & spouses: Monica & Kevin Garrison of Versailles, John & Rebecca Liette of Versailles, Caitlin & Tony McNeilan of Yorkshire; grandchildren: Jack, Michael, & Grace Osborne; brother & sister in law: Dean & Vivian Liette of New Weston; sisters & brothers in law: Deborah (Liette) & Dave Homan of Fort Recovery, Vickie (Liette) & Dr. Kipp Burgermeister of Portland, Indiana; brother in laws & sisters in laws: Mildred Frilling, Julia Pleiman, Theresa Pleiman, Ludwig & Theckla Hoying, Richard Hoelscher, Joseph Romer, Henry & Faye Hoelscher, Paul & Rosalee Holdheide, Kathy Hoelscher, Bob & Linda Schwegman, & Jim & Peg Snider, & numerous nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday June 16, 2015, at 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church 14 East Wood Street, Versailles, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Ron Haft Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM today June 15, 2015, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio.
