Thelma Keck
Thelma "June" Keck, age 67, of Celina, passed away Saturday evening, September 5, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
Born July 11, 1948 in Acme, West Virginia, she was a daughter of John & Thelma Green Gilbert, who are both deceased.
June married Bill Keck on April 5, 1965 and he survives, along with their three children: Angie (Randy) Dixon of Cincinnati, Lisa Keck of Fairborn and Steve (Kelly) Keck of Coldwater, five grandchildren: Cory Seibert, Shaun Seibert, Gavin Keck, Caleb Keck and Libby Keck, and four great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are seven brothers & sisters: Jim (Sharon) Gilbert of St. Marys, and Anita (Mike) Gilbert, Brenda (Dave) Gingerich, Rita Hagaman, Bill (Sue) Gilbert, Edward (Mary) Gilbert and Roger Gilbert, all of Celina, and a Brother-in-law, Thomas Temple, of Celina.
Preceding June in death were two sisters: Nancy Temple and Peggy Gilbert, a brother and his wife: Gene & Vivian Gilbert, and a brother-in-law: Karl Hagaman.
She had been a Bus Driver for Celina City Schools for 15 years, and had also worked at the former Huffy Bicycle and Mersman Furniture factories in Celina.
June enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She never knew a stranger.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, September 10 at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home
in Celina, with Pastor Ron Hagaman officiating. Burial will follow at Neptune Cemetery in Center Township.
Calling Hours are from 4 - 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 9, and 9:30-10:30 A.M. on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
