CELINA - Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey fears a state plan to eliminate automobiles' front license plates would have a negative impact on law enforcement efforts.

NEW BREMEN - Officials are asking village and German Township voters to approve a five-year, 2-mill replacement levy for emergency medical services.

Incumbent Scott Bertke is seeking re-election. He is joined by candidates Dana Blanchard, Kyle Schmiesing, Bruce Spragg and Cory Suchland.

CELINA - Senate President Keith Faber, R-Celina, has announced he will run in 2016 for the Ohio House's 84th District seat currently held by Jim Buchy, R-Greenville.
