Bernice Klosterman
Bernice M. Klosterman, age 76, of Montezuma, died on Friday, November 6, 2015 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born April 8, 1939, in Dayton, to the late Ralph & Agnes (Schwieterman) Borgerding. On April 25, 1959, she married Dale Klosterman who survives in Montezuma.
She is also survived by six children, Linda & Nick Bertke of Troy, Dean & Tammy Klosterman of Chickasaw, Neal & Kathy Klosterman of Montezuma, Karen & Mark Linn of Ft. Mill, South Carolina, Ann & Kevin Puthoff of St. Henry and Doug and Tracy Klosterman of Montezuma, 23 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, in-laws, Robert & JoAnn Albers of North Star, Nettie Borgerding of Dayton, Janice Borgerding of St. Henry, Bob & Betty Meiring of New Bremen, mother-in-law Helen Klosterman of Coldwater, Glen & Luella Klosterman of Delaware, Dottie & Hank Dickman of Minster, John & Linda Klosterman of St. Marys and Sally & Larry Aller of Lawton, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by a great granddaughter Sara, siblings Barb Albers, John Borgerding, Joe Borgerding, Vivian Meiring and Raphael & Irene Borgerding and her father-in-law Maurice Klosterman.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, its Christian Mothers Sodality, and she volunteered for funeral lunches.
She was a devoted housewife and homemaker and retired from Visions in Celina.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Monday (today) from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital or OSU Trauma and Acute Care Center.
