Treatment train work

Workers this week use rocks to build a berm along the west side of Grand Lake as part of the ongoing estimated $1.85 million Coldwater Creek treatment train project. The plan involves the creation of wetlands, filtering bays and other natural resources on nearly 300 acres of land to the east and west of U.S. 127 to reduce phosphorous and sediment in the creek before the water enters the lake.
