ST. MARYS - A 14-year-old girl died at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital from injuries suffered in a hit-and-run accident on county Road 33A on Wednesday evening.
The St. Marys girl was walking in the eastbound lane at 10:41 p.m. near Barrington Road when she was struck from behind by an unidentified dark-colored pickup truck. The truck continued eastbound without stopping, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol news release. [More]
