Marybelle Flohre
Marybelle Flohre, 85, passed away at 2:33 pm September 19, 2016, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born November 26, 1930 in Coldwater to Alexius Henry and Blanche Mary (Meyer) Giere who preceded her in death. On November 23, 1950 she married Herman Eugene Flohre who preceded her in death on January 19, 1996.
She was owner and operator of House of Fashion from 1948 until 1975. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary, Daughters of Isabella in Celina, Wapakoneta Theatre Guild, Minster Crescent Players, and sang in the Hi-Fever Follies.
She had a beautiful voice and was an avid seamstress making many costumes for plays, pageants, and dancers
She is survived by: a Daughter, Mary Blanche Hengstler of Lima; a Son, Joseph A. Flohre of Lima; 3 Grandchildren, Kiersten Elizabeth (Joseph) Snider, Laura (Matt) Teubert, Matthew Flohre; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Victoria Elizabeth and Lillian Renee Snider, Vincent Teubert; 1 Brother-in-law and 2 Sisters-in-law, Lifelong best friend, Mrs. Joseph (Dolores) Kuhn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at St. John Catholic Church, Lima with Father David Ross officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery in Celina, OH.
Friends may call from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services Shawnee Chapel where an 8:00 pm Wake Service will be held.
