CELINA - City officials this week agreed to focus on their own sidewalk responsibilities before targeting damaged walks in front of residences.
Safety service director Tom Hitchcock at a commitee meeting this week displayed a trove of about 2,260 pictures of sidewalk sections needing repairs.
CELINA - City officials plan to spend nearly $1.7 million this year to improve deteriorating residential streets and underlying water lines.

COLDWATER - School officials are considering giving the high school gym's bleachers a facelift.
Athletic director Eric Goodwin told school board members on Tuesday that while the bleachers in the Palace were in overall good shape, the steps and railings were not up to code.
ST. HENRY - A new passenger van may be added to the school district's fleet of vehicles.
School board members on Tuesday authorized the Southwest Ohio Educational Purchasing Council to advertise and receive bids on the board's behalf for the van.
