Very strong wind gusts and dry soil is leading to areas of blowing dust across the area. This is causing visibility to be reduced to one mile or less in localized area.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
As winds slowly decrease late this afternoon into the evening, blowing dust should diminish.

Eleanor Elking
Eleanor R. Elking, age 94, of Chickasaw, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born November 25, 1922 in Philothea, to the late Joseph & Katherine (Dues) Abels. She married Maurice A. Elking on September 25, 1948, and he died January 15, 2003.
She is also survived by children, Cynthia Elking of Medway, Daniel Elking of Chickasaw and Patrick & Janet Elking of St. Henry; son-in-law David Knapke of St. Henry; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; in-laws, Eileen Schmitz of Ft. Recovery, Marie Riethman of McCartyville, Charles & Lillian Elking of Hillsboro, Rita Elking of New Bremen and Matilda Elking of Chickasaw.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Kathleen Knapke, she was the last of ten children.
She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Chickasaw, its ladies sodality, and was a cook at Marion Local Schools for many years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Precious Blood Church, Chickasaw. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 PM on Thursday and 9 to 9:45 AM Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
