Charles Fannon
Charles L. Fannon, 81, Saint Marys, died 11:12 A.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Saint Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born July 5, 1935, in Saint Marys, the son of Lee and Ruth (Fee) Fannon. He married Martha Goubeaux on May 5, 1962, and she survives at the residence.
In addition to his wife Martha, he is survived by his nieces and nephews: Kim (Tony) Toben of Saint Marys; Scott (Bev) Fannon of Saint Marys; LaRee (Floyd) Owsley of Saint Marys; Shawn (Kristy) Fannon of Saint Marys; Jill Bertsch of Dublin, Ohio; Jane Tullis of Kettering; Janice Presley of Dayton. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Presley of Engelwood, Ohio; a brother-in-law, James Goubeaux of Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his siblings: Dick Fannon; Everett Fannon; Nelma Hecht and Fred Fannon.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. Chuck retired from the Copeland Corporation in Sidney. He loved fishing. He was a very active member of VFW Post 9289 in Saint Marys, where he served on the Funeral Honor Guard Team for many years.
Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 17, 2017, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor John Mobley, officiant.
Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
