Kenneth Fetters
Kenneth A. Fetters, age 72, of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 6:04 a.m. on Sunday May 28, 2017 at his residence in Celina.
He was born on Dec. 4, 1944 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Norval C. & Marguerite (Slusser) Fetters. On Aug. 6, 1966, he married Marianna Vining, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are his two daughters and sons-in-law Kim and Michael Gause, Kris and Duane Rasneor, both of Celina, three grandchildren Kaitlyn Ross, Graham Gower, Emma Gause, great granddaughter Kinslee Mae, brother and sister-in-law Paul and Barbara Fetters of Ft. Wayne, a brother-in-law Virgil and Betty Koons of Sidney and several Nieces and Nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters and a brother-in-law Joan and Frank Moran and Joyce Koons.
Kenneth graduated High School from Parkway with the Class of 1963. He received his bachelor's degree from Huntington College and completed his graduate work and his Master's degree from Wright State University. He was employed as a teacher and an administrator for the Celina City Schools until he retired. He worked part time for Celina Moving and Storage in the summer and full-time for L&L Distribution after he retired. He was a member of the New Horizons Community Church in Rockford and was a member of both the Mercer County Sportsmen's Association in Celina and the Willshire Sportsmen's Association. Kenneth was also a proud member of the NRA. He was a high school umpire and referee. He enjoyed camping and was an avid collector of antique tractors.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday June 1, 2017 at the New Horizons Community Church in Rockford, with Rev. Dave Souers officiating. Burial will follow in the Willshire Cemetery in Willshire , Ohio.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Church in Rockford.
